Case DescriptionEarring-related injuries are well described, but earring getting embedded in the preauricular region is uncommon. A rare case of 56-year-old female reported to our department with an uncommon injury of her earring embedded in the preauricular region.
Conclusion and Practical ImplicationsUnderstanding the risk factors, proper piercing techniques and right aftercare measures can significantly reduce the incidence of these injuries.
