Hippo Signaling Pathway
A signaling pathway that plays a key role in regulating tissue and organ growth. The name derives from the protein kinase Hippo (Hpo) found in DROSOPHILA; where mutations of the Hpo gene result in tissue overgrowth and the hippopotamus phenotype.
