PMID: 34280272; PMCID: PMC8293881. This publication presents an analysis of several years of recent data from the NCAA Injury Surveillance Program, illustrating injury patterns from a large sample of collegiate men’s diving teams. Injury reporting at this level has allowed determination of injury rates among competitive diving separate from swimming.

Again, unique injury rates among divers per athlete-exposure were presented, notably with higher rates of injury among collegiate women than those among men in the above study.
