No Visitors: Family Perceptions of Separation From Hospitalized Loved Ones

Stacey L. Knight, DNP, RN, CNE, is an associate professor at JoAnne Gay Dishman School of Nursing, Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas. She has a doctorate of Nursing Practice from Loyola University New Orleans with a focus on executive leadership. She is a 2-time TOBGNE award winner in both teaching and research. Her interests include global health and comparative health care systems utilizing study abroad.

Ruthie Robinson, PhD, RN, CNS, FAEN, CEN, NEA-BC, is a professor and director of Graduate Nursing Studies at JoAnne Gay Dishman School of Nursing, Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas. Her research interests include compassion fatigue and moral distress.

Cynthia Stinson, PhD, APRN, CNS, RN-BC, is an associate professor and chair at JoAnne Gay Dishman School of Nursing, Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas. She has a BSN from Lamar University Beaumont, Texas, a master's degree from University of Texas Galveston, Texas, and a PhD from Texas Woman's University Houston, Texas. She is a clinical nurse specialist and certified in medical-surgical nursing. In 2022, she was recognized as a Hartford Distinguished Geriatric Educator.
