Errors in Text, Figure, and Supplement

In the Research Letter titled “A Difference-in-Differences Analysis of Youth Smoking and a Ban on Sales of Flavored Tobacco Products in San Francisco, California,”1 published online first on May 24, 2021, and in the August 2021 issue of JAMA Pediatrics, there was an error in the time frame for the 2019 wave of the San Francisco district Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System survey. The data were collected between November 5, 2018, and December 14, 2018, and not during the spring semester, as originally reported. To address this error, clarifications and corrections to the text of the article, the eMethods in the Supplement, and the label on the x-axis of Figure 1 have been made. In addition, a correction to the Conflicts of Interest Disclosures has been made to include the author’s disclosure of testifying as an unpaid expert before the Connecticut General Assembly’s Public Health Committee on proposed tobacco flavor ban legislation in February 2021. A Letter of Explanation2 has been published that explains the errors. This article was corrected online.
