In this study we have reported first nickel(II)-catalyzed sustainable, eco-friendly, practical and less expensive multi-component synthesis (MCS) of 2-pyrazolines by acceptorless dehydrogenation of benzyl alcohols. Herein, two Phosphine free, air stable NNN type pincer ligand supported nickel(II) complexes C1, C2 were reported and utilized in the MCS of broad range of pyrazolines(40 example).
