Formal approvals were obtained from the National Institute of Forensic Pathology “Dr. Sergio Sarita Valdez”, which were duly signed and documented, thus respecting the Declaration of Helsinki of 1964. If necessary, we can provide the journal with the authorizations issued by these authorities for this case report.

The procedures presented in this case report are part of the medico-legal autopsy protocols recognized and ordered by the judicial authorities of the Dominican Republic, for which informed consent is not required in any way. If necessary, we can provide the journal with the authorizations granted by these authorities for this case report. Similarly, since there is no identifying information in the figures or text, we believe that this documentation is not necessary either.
