A vulvar pseudotumor: A rare clinical presentation of eosinophilic folliculitis

A 41-year-old Nigerian woman presented to our institution with a complaint of a growing lesion in the left labia majora with increased purulent drainage. Her prior medical records were not available. She was HIV-positive and receiving treatment since 2018, with undetectable viral load and CD4 lymphocytes in normal range. The patient also had a previous diagnosis from that same year of primary herpetic vulvovaginitis with recurrent outbreaks in spite of several courses of antiviral treatment.
