[Reflections] Blurred lines in sport

In an interview with Time magazine in 2017, Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman recalled her relationship with Larry Nassar. “He was always, always, always on my side”, she said. “He was always that person who would stick up for me and make me feel like he had my back.” Nassar started working with USA Gymnastics in 1986. As national medical co-ordinator, respected sports physician, and osteopath, he attended four Olympic Games, and thousands of young athletes were referred to him. He molested at least 300.
