A rare case of intravenous leiomyomatosis extending to inferior vena cava

A 38-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital with chronic abdominal pain and irregular vaginal bleeding. She had undergone a myomectomy more than 10 months earlier. Abdominal computerized tomography angiography (CTA) revealed cord-like thickening in the inferior vena cava.The inferior vena cava is dilated(Fig. 1A),and the vein wall was thickened in a cable-like and nodular manner, extending to the proximal segment of the internal and external iliac veins in the right common iliac (Fig. 1
