Power, intersectionality and stigma: Informing a gender- and spatially-sensitive public health approach to women and gambling in Great Britain

Sara Davies is a Senior Research Fellow at the Personal Finance Research Centre, University of Bristol. She manages and conducts mixed-method research, with a particular focus on qualitative methodologies, and large-scale, complex evaluations. Her work examines financial behaviours and the drivers behind them, in subjects as diverse as the transition to higher education, gambling, debt advice, the costs of serious illness and the poverty premium. This research is aimed at influencing policy and practice across the UK.
