Epidemiology and Nomogram for Predicting the Cancer-specific Survival of Ovarian Granulosa Cell Tumor: A Seer database study

Ovarian granulosa cell tumor (OGCT) is an orphan disease, less than 8% of overall ovarian malignant tumors which is characterized by low incidence rate, low-grade malignancy and long-term recurrence and metastasis [1], [2], [3], [4], [5]. Once recurrence and metastasis occur, the prognosis deteriorates rapidly [6]. Therefore, it is necessary to explore the prognostic factors and arouse people's vigilance to prevent recurrence and metastasis. We included 1005 patients with granulosa cell tumor of ovary recorded (from 2000 to 2018) based on SEER public database. This paper retrospectively analyzed the epidemiological characteristics and prognosis factors of granulosa cell tumor of ovary, to explore the possible related factors of recurrence and prognosis of ovarian granulosa cell tumor. At the same time, we also established a predictive nomogram to verify the clinical prognosis. We hope that the predictive nomogram will contribute to clinicians' identification of high-risk patients and their prognosis education, so as to ultimately improve their prognosis.
