Psychotest for Detik Network Employee and Internship Candidates in UNS, Applicants Reach 650 People

UNS — Detik Network opened vacancies for prospective employees and interns in various positions. They are anchors, news reporters, video editors, graphic designers, event conceptors, web developers, and others. This recruitment process was one of a series of Demi Indonesia Goes to UNS’ which was held by detikcom on Wednesday (15/3/2023). There were 3 agendas being held, namely #DemiIndonesia Hebat, #DemiIndonesia Siap Kerja, and #DemiIndonesia Bahagia.

To uns.ac.id, HR Recruitment and Assessment detikcom, Syifa Haryanti, explained #DemiIndonesia Siap Kerja was recruitment for both employees and apprentices. One of the processes was a psychological test which took place at the Auditorium of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta. “The process is simultaneous, the psychological test is on March 15, offline. But for the paperless test, use the Demi Indonesia application, also guided by the HR team of detikcom and each test has a password so indirectly they do the test together,” she explained .

Syifa said there were around 650 people who registered online. However, this amount had not been accumulated with offline registrants (on the spot). “We have opened online registration since last week. Today we are also open on the spot as offline. If there were around 650 online until this afternoon, that’s quite a lot. It is also not counting those on the spot registration. All registration is centered on jobs. detik.com, so everyone must first have an account there. After having an account, you will get an email, only after that you can download the application for today’s test. So everything is by system. For today, half of those who came were in today’s session,” she said.

The processing of the psychological test data from the participants was fairly fast, because it was systemized. The HR team announces the results on the same day no later than 21.00 WIB. “And for the next process, tomorrow an offline interview will also be conducted at the Solo Detik Jateng bureau office. For apprentices, it is likely that we will conduct the interview via online. Placements, either employees or apprentices, can be at the Central Java bureau or the Central Office in Jakarta,” Syifa continued.

When asked about the reason for choosing the location in UNS, Syifa said that UNS is a university located in a fairly large city. Moreover, Solo is also focusing on developing the education sector. “UNS also happens to have a Dies Natalis, so we are holding it here. At the same time, the recruitment process also worked with the UNS CDC team yesterday, the student team also has full support for us to help with recruitment promotions. So from UNS, there were around 150 applicants. So Indeed, the enthusiasm of UNS colleagues is extraordinary, both for employees and apprentices.
