Festive and Lively! #DemiIndonesia Bahagia in UNS Presents Nidji and The Changcuters

UNS — The series of events #DemiIndonesia Goes to Campus at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta was closed with great fanfare in the peak of #DemiIndonesia Bahagia event which took place in front of Dr. Prakosa UNS building, Wednesday night (15/3/2023). This event was collaboration between UNS and detikcom.

The #DemiIndonesia Bahagia event which was packaged in this concert event presented The Changcuters, Nidji, Owah Gerr Band, Team Lo, Elizabeth Sudira, and Voca Erudita. More than a thousand spectators joined in to enliven the event which was also held in commemoration of the 47th Dies Natalis UNS.

Also present in this event, the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho; Chief Editor of detikcom, Alfito Deannova Ginting; Head of 47th Dies Natalis UNS, Dr. Sapta Kunta Purnama; and UNS leaders.

In his remarks, the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho expressed his appreciation to detikcom for successfully organizing this event.

“This morning there was #DemiIndonesia Hebat, then this afternoon there was #DemiIndonesia Siap Kerja, and tonight it’s time for us to have fun in #DemiIndonesia Bahagia. UNS is in my heart, detik.com is on my cellphone,” he said.

Dr. Sapta Kunta Purnama also said that tonight, it was time for the UNS academic community to sing and dance together in enlivening the 47th Dies Natalis UNS in the #DemiIndonesia Bahagia event.

The event was opened with the appearance of Elizabeth Sudira, who performed a duet with the Voca Erudita Student Choir (PSM). They performed three songs, including Walang Kekek, Semerdu Lokananta, Rindu Solo, and Khatulistiwa. After the collaboration performance between UNS alumnus and Voca Erudita, the event continued with performances from Owah Gerr Band and Team Lo. The two bands, which combined music and comedy, were able to bring laughter from the audience through the songs and jokes they performed.

Meanwhile, Nidji and The Changcuters appeared as the closing for the #DemiIndonesia Bahagia event. The appearance of the two bands added to the boisterous crowd of thousands of spectators. Some of the songs performed by the two bands included Laskar Pelangi, Hapus Aku, Biarlah, I Love You Bibeh, London, and many other songs. Humas UNS
