What do you know about scrub typhus?

The answer for many of you (including The Archivist) might be… not much. Things to be aware of are: Orientia tsutsugamushi (a gram-negative alpha-probacterium from the Rickettsiaceae family), the trombiculid mite (Chiggers in USA and Harvest mites in UK, or berry bugs, or red bugs,) and the Tsutsugamushi Triangle (the area of the world where it is endemic including Northern Australia and Asia).
