Robotic-Assisted Minimally Invasive Surgery: Foregut Procedures in Pediatric Patients

The use of robotic-assisted pediatric surgery was first published in 2001 in Germany and included the descriptive experience related to Nissen fundoplications performed on a 10 and 12 year old.1 More than 20 years later, the use of robotic surgery in children has expanded.
