Welcome to the first issue of the American Journal of Clinical Dermatology for 2023.
I wish to reflect on last year’s achievements, and to thank all those who have contributed their valuable time and effort to the journal over the past 12 months.
I would like to start by thanking the authors of the articles published in the American Journal of Clinical Dermatology over the course of 2022. The skill and dedication of these experts are critical to the continued success of the journal.
The high quality of published articles in the American Journal of Clinical Dermatology has been reflected in the most recent Impact Factor of 6.233 and CiteScore™ of 12.1. These place the journal seventh and third, respectively, in the dermatology categories. Further, the American Journal of Clinical Dermatology has published content in a timely manner, with an average time from submission to acceptance of 89 days in 2022.
The quality of published articles is also testament to the significant efforts of the peer reviewers, whose commitment ensures that the journal’s content is held to the highest possible standard.
