The Editor and Publisher of Cancer Management and Research wish to retract the published article. Concerns were raised regarding the alleged duplication of image in Figure 5D with the same images from Figure 7D in Cong et al, 2021 ‘MiR-200c/FUT4 axis prevents the proliferation of colon cancer cells by downregulating the Wnt/β-catenin pathway’ (https://doi.org/10.1186/s12885-020-07670-y). Specifically,

Figure 5D, NC appears to have been duplicated with the same image from Figure 7D, Lovo, Model in Cong et al, 2021. Figure 5D, LKB1+Ani appears to have been duplicated with the same image from Figure 7D, Lovo, miR-200c+FUT4.

The authors did not respond to our queries and no explanation for the alleged image duplication was provided. The Editor requested to retract the article and the authors were notified of this.

The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as “Retracted”.
