I feel immensely privileged to be elected as part of the board and to be a representative for the Asia-Pacific region and look forward to being an active member during an important and exciting time for higher education.”

He adds, “Since the establishment of the International Association of Universities (IAU) in 1947 under the umbrella of UNESCO, it has been an important platform to discuss policies and set direction for higher education institutions across the globe.”
