The first camp of its kind was organized by members of the Biology Education Chapter of the Qatar University Alumni Association. The event was called "Science Camp." The purpose of this camp was to instill a love of science and a scientific mindset in young people.

The camp provided many different interactive scientific activities that provided the opportunity for all students to express their creative talents, taking into account the age differences of all students. The camp included Qatar University students from the same major, science teachers and students from the primary schools which included boys and girls, preparatory and secondary levels which included only girl students, parents and some participating ministries.

In her speech on this occasion Wardh Saber Garab, President of the Biology Education Chapter of the Qatar University Alumni Association, said: “The Science Camp 2022 was tangible evidence that we represent the slogan of the National Day “Our unity is our strength” with our work. We represented ourselves and are proud of that. We were able to establish our feet and show the whole world that together we are the best, together we are the most powerful and distinguished. As we are the image of the true teacher.”

She added, “I say to every teacher and every graduate student: Hold your head high and enjoy this great achievement.”

Khaula Musabah Alghafri, Vice-President of Biology Education Chapter and Head of the Media Committee said, “Together we are the best, the strongest and most distinguished. When there is creativity, challenge, love of learning, innovation, when we hear the spirit of cooperation, solidarity, determination and determination to achieve excellence, we find all this at “Biology Education Chapter ".

A group of experts and university professors praised the scientific skills that excelled during the camp, which was like a factory that produces distinguished talents for society and the scientific arena in Qatar. They valued the efforts of the male and female students and graduates who participated in the "Science Camp" event.

A member of the Biology Education Chapter named Fatima Mustafa Murad said that every innovation is the result of unseen work and golden hands that leave their mark. I saw this unfold during the science camp of the Biology Education Chapter at Qatar University, where cooperation, tolerance, and a love for unity brought its esteemed members together under the theme of "our strength is in our unity."

While some of the teachers and graduates who participated in the implementation of this fruitful initiative expressed the overwhelming happiness they felt after this great achievement, stressing that the camp experience made them more confident. They learnt from each other and united to show their true strength. Science and knowledge come with practical practice and application on the ground. They enjoyed the experience and we are very proud of what they provided, and we are proud of our outcomes in biology education.
