Total of 188 subjects, including 50 BECTS (Center 1) and 138 normal controls (NCs) (Center 1: 38 females, 55 males; mean age, 9.33 ± 2.6 years; Center 2: 7 females, 10 males; mean age, 8.59 ± 2.32 years; Center 3: 14 females, 14 males; mean age, 13 ± 3.42 years) from three different centers were recruited from Jinling Hospital of Nanjing University (Center 1), Shenzhen Kangning Hospital (Center 2) and Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical University (Center 3).
