AbstractSuccessful management of anticipated difficult airway is a challenge for an anesthesiologist specially in pediatric patients. Although awake fiberoptic intubation is now a realistic option in this age group, it can still be an ardous task when it comes to managing oral tumors in a child. We describe successful management of a case of oral fibrosarcoma in a child where awake fiberoptic bronchoscopy was done in lateral position to secure the airway and avoid cannot ventilate cannot intubate situation.
