We are HSI Team OMOTENASHI, student volunteers of HSI (Hokkaido Summer Institute). We are now looking for audience members to attend HSI SDGs Challenge Competition 2022 this August!
Please don’t miss this chance to listen to students’ creative ideas worldwide! Anyone who is interested in the program or Hokkaido University can join on the day via Zoom (Application required).

*Nitobe College students from undergraduate courses can receive 1 Nitobe College Point by answering a brief questionnaire after the event.

【Event details】

English presentations on the theme will be given by HU students and HSI students around the world. Apart from awarding by the judges, the vote from the audience will also decide the Audience Award winner.

~Rethinking Our Lifestyle during the Pandemic~

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought a new normal. With increased concern for hygiene, some problems of mass consumption have become apparent in all aspects of our daily lives.

In this competition, you are asked to identify a specific problem of mass consumption in the pandemic, and propose a creative plan to solve that situation.

The world is getting back to normal. Now is the time to think about what actions you can take for the betterment of the world, as a student who experienced this tough time.

【Target Audience 】

In-person: HSI students, Hokkaido University students, teachers, and staff

Zoom: Anyone who is interested in the program or Hokkaido University

【Event Format】Hybrid

In-person: N1 lecture room at the Institute for the Advancement of Higher Education

Zoom: We will send you the link to those who completed the application
*In-person participants have to wear a mask to join the event.
