Assessment of clinical studies evaluating combinations of immune checkpoint inhibitors with locoregional treatments in solid tumors

Valentina Bertaglia is a Consultant in Medical Oncology in the Oncology Department at San Luigi Hospital in Orbassano, part of the University of Turin. In 2009, she graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Turin. In 2015 she completed her specialist training in Medical Oncology and PhD programme in Experimental Medicine and Therapy at the University of Turin in 2019. She specialises in the treatment of thoracic malignancie.She is involved as sub-invetigator in many International and National controlled clinical trials evaluating new approaches in diagnosis and lung cancer therapy.

Fausto Petrelli is a Medical Oncologist. He was fellow at the Istituto Nazionale Tumori in Milan. He works at ASST Bergamo Ovest, Treviglio. His main focus of research interest are systematic reviews and meta-analyses of clinical oncology research questions, including those related to target and immuno therapies.

Michele Porcu is a radiologist and a researcher at the University of Cagliari. Radiological aspects of immune related adverse events are one of his areas of research interests.

Luca Saba is a Professor of Radiology at the University of Cagliari. He has been involved in projects of Immuno Oncology focusing on imaging aspects of evaluation of responses and toxicities from immune checkpoint inhibitors.

Josie Pearce S is in the post-baccalaureate Premedical program at Harvard and plans to pursue a JD-MD joint degree following her completion of the program. Additionally, she is very nvolved in the Dartmouth alumni community, serving as Young Alumni Chair of the Dartmouth Club of Greater Boston, a board member of Women of Dartmouth Boston, and a member of the Young Alumni Campaign Advisory Committee.

Andrea Luciani is a Medical Oncologist, Director at the Medical Oncology Department, ASST Bergamo Ovest, Treviglio and president of GIOGER. He was a fellow at the San Paolo Hospital in Milan. His main focus of research interest is Geriatric Oncology.

Cinzia Solinas is a Medical Oncologist who earned her PhD in Medical Sciences (topic: Immuno-Oncology in Breast Cancer) in January 2019 at the Universitè Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium). Currently she works at Azienda Tutela della Salute in Nuoro (Italy) as a Medical Oncologist. She graduated in Medicine at the University of Cagliari (Italy). In October 2014 she started her PhD at the Molecular Immunology Unit (Head: Dr Willard-Gallo) of the same institute. Cinzia's main areas of research have been the characterization of the immune response in breast cancer, of immune checkpoint molecules in breast cancer and in other tumors, and of different clinical aspects related to the manipulation of the immune response in cancer (i.e., radiological, adverse events, etc).

Mario Scartozzi is a Full Professor of Medical Oncology at the University of Cagliari. His main areas of research interest are gastrointestinal tumors, angiogenesis, targeted and immuno therapies.
