Could IL-25 be a potential therapeutic target for intestinal inflammatory diseases?

Jie Chen received her B.S. degree from TianJin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Currently, she is a graduate student studying pharmaceutics and inflammatory bowel disease for her Master’s Degree. Her advisor is Prof. Lan Shen from School of Pharmacy, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Yingshu Wang is a researcher at Wuxi Application Technology, and graduated from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her research concentrate on new chinese medicine formulations. Focusing on the active ingredients and effective parts of traditional chinese medicine, made studies on the therapeutic effect of patchouli oil on ulcerative colitis.

Lan Shen is a professor and a Doctorate Degree advisor in the School of Pharmacy at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is actively engaged in both teaching and research in the postgraduate program. Her areas of research interest on key technologies and in vivo process of Chinese materia medica preparation. In recent years, she has focused on the theory and application of the unification of drugs and adjuvants.

Yanfeng Xiu is an associate professor and Master Degree advisor in the School of Pharmacy at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her research area is the mechanism of preparation of Chinese medicine and drug research and development. She has presided over various TCM research projects, focusing on the effects of TCM on gastrointestinal related disease giving and the mechanism of toxicity reduction of TCM preparation.

Bing Wang is an associate professor at Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research includes Chinese medicine particle drug delivery systems and the development of new Chinese medicine formulations and technologies. Focusing on the active ingredients and effective parts of traditional Chinese medicine, she has obtained several achievements in traditional Chinese medicine nano-drug delivery, gastrointestinal drug release, and biodegradable and sustainable polymer-controlled release formulations.
