Heart Surg Forum. 2021;24(5). https://doi.org/10.1532/hsf.4049. This clinical trial was modestly successful with melatonin treatment. These two trials [50] did not demonstrate significant effects, but did not cause harm, paving the way for future larger or targeted clinical trials.
