GET READY FOR NANN IN VEGAS!

figure1

NANN is thrilled to host our first in-person conference in 2 years at the Paris Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas from September 14-17, 2022. Located right in the middle of the Vegas strip, we'll reunite and connect with other NANN fans, attend educational sessions covering the latest in neonatology, network with industry partners, and take some time to celebrate the profession together! COVID safety will be top of mind for all attendees. Registration opens May 31, 2022, for NANN's 38th Annual Conference at nann.org/conference.

LEARN TO MASTER DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS IN THE NICU AT NANN CONNECTIONS

figure2

On July 23rd, join NANN's Membership Committee for NANN Connections: Crucial Conversations in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). A panel of neonatal nurses will share tools from Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When Stakes Are High for mastering difficult conversations, regardless of the topic or person. Learn how to respond when someone initiates a difficult conversation and communicate more effectively at work.

NANN Connections self-care–focused events offer CE and are free for all neonatal nurses and advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), members, and nonmembers alike. Register at nann.org/connect and invite your peers for a night focused on connection and self-care.

CELEBRATE YOUR PEERS WITH A NANN AWARD

figure3

Each year, NANN recognizes the outstanding contributions of individuals practicing in neonatal nursing. Whether they are clinical practitioners, educators, or researchers, NANN is dedicated to honoring the achievements of those who are advancing the field of neonatal nursing. NANN chapters are also honored annually for what they accomplish on a local level.

Each nomination must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation and CV. Winners receive complementary 2022 Annual Conference registration and travel, $500 stipend, $250 honorarium, and trophy. Nominate yourself or another outstanding neonatal nurse on MyNANN by May 1, 2022.
