A sexual reproduction of the grey leaf spot causing fungus Pestalotiopsis microspora. The conidia can be either composed of two upper median cells that are darker than the lowest median cell, i.e. versicolourous. Or concolorous conidia are found with similar pigmentation in the median cells.
